UFC 232 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fifth episode for this weekend’s big show in Vegas...wait no, California, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
Alexander Gustafsson’s team packs up a bus to go from Vegas to Los Angeles. He thinks it’s “f—ked up” that things have to change because of Jon Jones. He says he’ll go to heavyweight after this and knock out Daniel Cormier.
We get out first look at Chad Mendes, who fights Alex Volkanovski on the main card. Mendes says it’s a bad idea to call him out. Jon Jones, Carlos Condit, and Andrei Arlovski are flying to LA too. And Megan Anderson. It’s very early. Jon Jones chartered the plane apparently. Arlovski is making fun of him for it. Anderson talks a bit about her fight with Cat Zingano. Zingano does too.
They show some background stuff from the press conference, and a few clips that you probably saw. Cris Cyborg talks a little smack. Jones is trying to make things up to his fans. Gustafsson is confident. Jones fires back. They show the face-offs. Things are tense but respectable.
UFC 232 goes down tonight in LA.
