The UFC’s year-end show goes down tonight live from Las Vegas, NV Los Angeles, CA! And it’s not happening without controversy, after the returning Jon Jones just can’t seem to escape problems and discrepancies related to those pesky PED testers USADA.
Tonight, at UFC 232, Jones will be back in the Octagon for the first time since July 2017. There he’ll meet a former foe — Alexander Gustafsson — whom he tangled with in Toronto back in 2013. The pair have had plenty to say in the lead up to this one, leading to one of the more anticipated fights the promotion has put on this calendar year.
The co-main event has the closest thing to a super-fight the UFC’s women’s divisions can offer; featherweight champion Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino versus the ‘Lioness’ Amanda Nunes. The rest of the main card features intriguing match-ups, each of which offers serious repercussions in the welterweight, light heavyweight, and men’s featherweight divisions.
