The MMA Depressed-Us: Penn vs. Edgar III & Penn vs. Siver

New, comments

Zane Simon, Connor Ruebusch, and Phil Mackenzie return to once again watch the worst fights they can dig up on Fight Pass. Focusing on the UFC, Strikeforce, Pride, and the WEC. This week they’re taking on late-career BJ Penn ahead of his UFC 232 return.

It feels like ages since there’s been a gap in the UFC schedule. Nonetheless, that gap is here and the MMA Depressed-Us has turned up like a bad penny to fill it. As always, we’re watching the worst, most un-fun of MMA we can find, in the hopes that it will somehow create karmic balance for all the good fights we normally get to watch. This time around, in honor of the fast approaching UFC 232 fight card, we’re watching some late-career BJ Penn. Notably, his 3rd fight against Frankie Edgar, and his most recent bout, against Dennis Siver.
