MMA Squared 2018 Awards: The record breaker, Charles Oliveira

It’s that time of year, so MMA Squared will be dropping both traditional and esoteric awards to salute the achievements of 2018.

The oldest record in UFC history was broken this year by Charles Olivera. The Brazilian submission specialist went 3-0 with three POTN bonuses in 2018, tapping out Clay Guida, Christos Giagos, and Jim Miller to tie, break and then extend the record for submission wins set by Royce Gracie in 1993.
