Grappling Report: Craig Jones becomes two-division Polaris champion

A rundown of the biggest headlines and news from the world of competitive grappling.

Move over Conor McGregor, Polaris has their own champ-champ and his name is Craig Jones.

Australian submission savant, Craig Jones was pitted against his former foe, Keenan Cornelius in the main event of Polaris 8 on Sunday night and the result was surprising. Cornelius had previously defeated Jones on multiple occasions and was widely considered the favourite, but Jones was able to do just enough to earn the victory.

Polaris 8’s victory is just another success to add to the list for Jones who has been a force to be reckoned with since his surprise run at ADCC 2017.
