All fears concerning whether or not Khabib Nurmagomedov would make weight for his UFC lightweight title bout vs. Conor McGregor can be put to rest.
The reigning champion was first on the scale at Friday’s official weigh-ins in Las Vegas. Nurmagomedov, who has missed weight in the past and had a fight with Tony Ferguson cancelled last year due to a weight-cut related hospitalization, came in at exactly 155 lbs for Saturday night’s mega-showdown.
Our colleagues over at Submission Radio is on-site to cover everything throughout this historic fight week, and you can see video of Khabib’s weigh-in below.
McGregor was third-to-last to weigh-in and came in at 154.5 lbs, making Saturday’s main event official. Video of his weigh-in will be posted shortly. They will meet and faceoff at the ceremonial weigh-ins later today at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT.
