Kevin Lee and Al Iaquinta will top the UFC’s final event on big FOX.

The pair of lightweight contenders are set to square off for the second time in the UFC on FOX 31 main event in December. UFC officials confirmed the news to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on Wednesday evening.

Lee and Iaquinta first met at UFC 169 in February 2014. Iaquinta won by decision. At the time, both were prospects, but now they are top contenders.

Lee is coming off a TKO win over Edson Barboza in April. In that fight, the rising contender rebounded from a submission loss to Tony Ferguson in an interim title fight last year.

Iaquinta fought for the vacant lightweight title on one day’s short notice in his last fight. He fell to current titleholder Khabib Nurmagomedov by lopsided decision. Prior to that, he knocked out Diego Sanchez in April 2017.

Iaquinta was booked to fight Justin Gaethje this past summer, but opted to bow out of the fight and was replaced by James Vick. Gaethje knocked Vick out in the first round.

UFC on FOX 31 takes place Dec. 15 at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
