UFC 229 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the first episode for this weekend’s big show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

Yes, that means a lot of Conor McGregor.

But we start off at AKA in San Jose. Khabib Nurmagomedov is doing his last day of camp before they go to Vegas. His coach says his weight is lower than before and he’s expecting a superb performance. Khabib says that AKA’s training program has produced four world champions, so it must work. It isn’t like McGregor’s “bullsh-t” conditioning.

Tony Ferguson is preparing for his bout with Anthony Pettis. He talks about his return from injury and shows off some of his unorthodox training. Pettis is training at Roufusport. Showtime talks about the big opportunity he has. He’s doing light sparring and says that his weight is on point.

AKA lets a bunch of Khabib fans in to hype him up. He talks about there only being one week until the biggest fight in UFC history. He says that he has “very big energy”. The next day, he heads off to Vegas.

McGregor shows up at the UFC Performance Institute in his fancy sports car and struts in front of the media. He says that many have forgotten his skill set, and he’s out to prove that he’s the number one P4P fighter in the world. Coach Owen Roddy says that he’s looking very good in training. McGregor says Khabib is a “dead man walking”.

Conor tells the camera it’s “UFC Macbedded” and zooms away in his car.

That’s it! UFC 229 goes down this Saturday night in Las Vegas.
