HBO Boxing 24/7: Canelo vs. Golovkin - Episode 2 full video

We’re just five days away from Gennady Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) defending his middleweight titles against Canelo Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) in one of the most anticipated fights of 2017, and indeed one of the dream matchups that’s been on the radar of boxing fans for years. Tickets have supposedly long been sold out, and the gate is expected to be one of the biggest of all-time.

As is the standard for big PPV fights on HBO, GGG vs. Canelo is getting the critically-acclaimed 24/7 series. The first of two episodes aired on August 26th, and you can watch that here, HBO has since released part 2, first broadcast following the Superfly card on Saturday, and you can watch the whole video at the top of the page. The smooth voice of Ray Donovan Liev Schreiber always gets me pumped for big boxing matches.

Gennady Golovkin vs. Canelo Alvarez will take place on September 16th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and air live on HBO pay-per-view. Please note that there will be a special start time of 8 PM ET/5 PM PT, so that means the main event should be underway somewhere between 10:15 and 10:45 PM ET.
