UFC 213: Romero vs. Whittaker main card live results, discussion, play by play

New, comments

Live, blow-by-blow updates for today's UFC 213 main card, which features an interim middleweight title fight on top.

Join us today on Bloody Elbow for live results, discussion, round scoring and play-by-play as UFC 213 goes down in Las Vegas.

Tonight's main event was supposed to see Amanda Nunes defending her women’s bantamweight title against Valentina Shevchenko, but that bout is now off due to a Nunes illness. The new main event is for the interim middleweight title, with Yoel Romero facing Robert Whittaker.

This post will cover the main card. The new co-main event of the show is likely the heavyweight tilt between Alistair Overeem and Fabricio Werdum, but who knows at this point.

The prelims kick off at approximately 7pm ET/4pm PT with two bouts on UFC Fight Pass. They then move over to FS1 at 8pm ET/5pm PT for the other four prelims bouts. The five-fight PPV kicks off at the normal starting time of 10pm ET/7pm PT. The prelims are covered in a separate post. The full lineup and schedule follows. Check out this week's MMA Vivisection for predictions, analysis and betting odds on the each match up.
