Brock Lesnar did not sit quietly for too long following the end of UFC 214. More precisely, the end of Jon Jones’ post-fight interview, when he called out Lesnar for one more rodeo in the Octagon.
“Brock Lesnar! If you want to know what it feels like to get your ass kicked by a guy 40 lbs lighter than you, meet me in the Octagon!” Jones said.
As AP News reported. Lesnar had a quick response for the new UFC light heavyweight champion.
“Be careful what you wish for, young man,” was all Brock Lesnar had to say.
Yet another return to the UFC has not been completely ruled out ever since Brock Lesnar defeated Mark Hunt at UFC 200, back in July 2016, but had his win overturned when he failed multiple USADA drug tests. The pro wrestling star is currently under WWE contract until next April’s WrestleMania, and should he return to the UFC, he would have to serve out the remaining four months of his one-year suspension.
If a fight between Jones and Lesnar were to happen, it would mark the first time Jones ever moved up to the UFC’s heavyweight division.
