You may remember when Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor was announced, the folks at Showtime released what appeared to be the official fight poster for this clash of combat sports’ two biggest pay-per-view stars. While that’s indeed a fight poster, it’s not the fight poster.
If you want to see the official fight poster, take a look at the tweet below.
Here is the OFFICIAL @FloydMayweather vs. @TheNotoriousMMA 8/26 fight poster.

You’ll see Mayweather Promotions, McGregor Sports and Entertainment, T-Mobile Arena, and Showtime PPV all sprawled across the bottom, but not the UFC, as they’re not an official co-promoter. Whether you love him or hate him, McGregor is on record as having sought this sort of arrangement where his own company would be co-promoting a major event, and the UFC lightweight champion has gone and done it.
Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor takes place on Saturday, August 26th (in case you didn’t read the poster closely), with the PPV costing you $99.95 HD/$89.95 SD. The preliminary card will be broadcast live on FOX.
