Video: McGregor tells Mayweather he has ‘brittle fists’ during intense face-off onstage

Listen to what Conor McGregor told Floyd Mayweather during Tuesday’s face-off in Los Angeles.

The spectacular Conor McGregor-Floyd Mayweather media world tour has been nothing if not entertaining.

The multi-city tour kicked off on Tuesday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California and both men were at each other’s throats during the debut face-off.

The stare down was inaudible during Showtime’s live broadcast but UFC president Dana White and co. captured the moment up close and uploaded the video to YouTube.

“I'm a f****** animal,' McGregor barked at Mayweather (h/t Spencer Morgan of The Daily Mail). “If this was a real fight you're dead already. If this was a real fight you're dead in 20 seconds. 20 seconds and I'd smash you within an inch of your life.”

McGregor, the former featherweight and current UFC lightweight champion, ordered ‘Money’ to look him in the eye and told the pound-for-pound great that he’s going to knock him out with ‘one shot’ on August 26.

“Look in my eye,” he said. “I'm gonna bounce your head off the canvas. That's what I do. One shot. One shot is all it takes me. Anywhere on the dome.

“You can keep your gloves up. I break the guard. My shots will break the guard and your little temple, your little a** temple.”

Mayweather, who looks to extend his career resume to a perfect 50-0 with a win over McGregor, told ‘The Notorious’ that he’s ‘easy work’.

“We'll see, we'll see,' Mayweather fired back. This is a whole other level. Easy work, easy work, easy work.”

McGregor promises to finish his opponent within four rounds, but ‘The Best Ever’ said he’d KO the UFC star in the first.

“Four rounds and you're unconscious,” McGregor said. “You ain't making it out of the first round. Keep talking,” Mayweather replied.

McGregor, 28, responded by bringing up Mayweather’s ‘brittle fists,' as it’s well documented that the American has had injury troubles with his hands.

“Yeah right, yeah right,” McGregor laughed. “You ain't knocked nobody out in about 30 years m************. Brittle fists, brittle fists. Those hands sore already? Do they hurt more in the cold? Make sure you get them massaged out.”
