Goodbye to World Series of Fighting, hello to the Professional Fighters League! The very first event under this rebranding is set for tonight (Friday, June 30th) at Daytona International Speedway in Florida. In fact, the card will air immediately following the Coca-Cola Firecracker 250 NASCAR XFINITY Series race on the track. This is clearly being done so that we don’t have really fast cars crashing into the cage while the fights are going on.

Anyway, the main event is between former WSOF champion Jon Fitch and veteran Brian Foster, who has only gone the distance once in 36 fights. Fitch hasn’t finished a fight in ten years. Is tonight the night he breaks that streak?

While PFL has ambitions of a fully-fledged league with a regular-season and postseason, with $1 million up for grabs across multiple weight classes, this will just be a “normal” fight card. It airs live on NBC Sports Network at 10:30 PM ET/7:30 PM PT. There are no prelims.

UPDATE: Apparently the show starts at 8:45 ET now due to rain.

Here’s the full fight card, accompanied by Eddie Mercado’s preview:

Jon Fitch def. Brian Foster by submission (ninja choke) at 3:12 of round 2
Ronny Markes def. Smealinho Rama by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)
Herman Terrado def. Joao Zeferino by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 30-27)
Jason High def. Caros Fodor by unanimous decision (29-28 x3)
