It looks as though the venue selected for the boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor is already booked for August 26th, though it might not be for long. Rapper/actor Ice Cube is one of the founders of the BIG3 League, a league featuring 3-on-3 basketball. They are currently scheduled to hold their championship game on the same day that Mayweather and McGregor are supposed to tangle in T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Will that pose a problem for Mayweather Promotions? The way Ice Cube sees it, as long as he gets something out of the deal, he’ll gladly step out of the way for the fight to go on.

As a guest on FS1’s Undisputed show with Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe, Cube explained his willingness to give up the date:

“Of course. If they do what they’re supposed to do and make us happy, yeah we’ll move. We’re talking about it. I think we can get there.”

According to TMZ, Cube will move the BIG3 game to the MGM Grand Garden instead.

So what is Ice Cube’s prediction for the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight? Well, it’s pretty similar to most fans:

“Yeah I know what’s going to happen. I think Mayweather gonna put them thangs on him.”
