BE’s Baddest Greatest Lightweight: #2 Donald Cerrone vs. #7 Genki Sudo

New, comments

Vote now in the Bloody Elbow Baddest Tournament to determine the Greatest MMA Lightweight of All Time. Today's match-up: #2 Donald Cerrone vs. #7 Genki Sudo. Vote now!

Last week’s battle between #4 Edson Barboza and #5 Sean Sherk was a nail-bitter, with compelling arguments made for both men. Perhaps it was the UFC gold he once wore, but at the end of the day, it was the Muscle Shark who took the win by a razor-thin score of 37-31. Good stuff there. He now moves on to a Sweet 16 showdown with Frankie Edgar.

Today, two of the wildest personalities in this tournament - heck two of the wildest personalities in MMA, period. It’s #2 Donald Cerrone vs. Japanese legend #7 Genki Sudo. I think we can all agree that when it comes to pure badness, these are both pound for pound greats. Sadly, only one will get to move on to round 2 of our tournament here.
