UFC 211 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the sixth and final episode for this weekend’s big show in Dallas, and it continues to be a brief introduction to the four title contestants that make up the top of the card.
This episode starts with Junior dos Santos, who clowns around during a cryotherapy session and seems to be in very good spirits. Next up is heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic, who throws out the first pitch at a Texas Rangers baseball game with Chas Skelly. He’s gutted that they make him take off his Cleveland Indians hat.
Things switch back to the hotel, where Jessica Andrade is sparring and Joanna Jedrzejczyk is cutting weight in the bath. Yair Rodriguez is doing the same in the sauna.
Then we’re onto the weigh-ins. Everyone makes weight, as expected. Then the ceremonial weigh-ins, where everyone squares off. Joanna gives Andrade a paper belt, which she graciously accepts, then throws away. Joanna talks some smack, as expected. Mental warfare. Then it’s Miocic and Dos Santos, and we’re set for tonight!
UFC 211 goes down today, May 13th, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.
