The marquee matchup for UFC Nashville saw the #4 ranked featherweight Cub Swanson take on Conor McGregor’s training partner Artem Lobov. Both men showed up to bang as they stood toe to toe for the bulk of the fight. When the dust settled, it was Swanson who landed the better shots, more often, to pick up the unanimous decision victory (49-46, 49-46, 50-45). Swanson has now won 4-straight.

Rd. 4- Lobov lands a left hand followed by an uppercut to the jaw of Swanson. Lobov presses Swanson against the cage, but disengages. Lobov lands a right hook, but then eats a cross from Swanson. A hook-cross lands to the head of Swanson, and they clinch up in the center of the cage. A spinning elbow lands for Swanson as he exits the clinch, and Lobov stumbles backwards. A stiff cross lands for Lobov, followed by a body kick. A big left hand cracks Swanson, but he eats it well. Lobov telegraphs a takedown, and they return to the clinch in the center of the cage.
