Bellator 175: Rampage vs. Mo streaming video, live results, and play-by-play

Join us tonight on Bloody Elbow for live results, streaming video (prelims) and detailed play-by-play as Bellator 175 comes to the Chicago area. The headliner of tonight’s show will be a rematch between Quinton Jackson and Muhammed Lawal, this time at heavyweight. Rampage weighed in 41 pounds heavier than the man he defeated in their first bout.

You can watch all of the prelim action starting at 6:45pm ET/3:45pm PT by viewing the video stream at the top of the page. There are a loooot of prelims, so I think some might be unaired or going down after the main card. The main card itself begins live on Spike TV at 9 PM ET/PT. Quinton Jackson vs. Muhammed Lawal

Round 1 - Rampage with a jab. Mo is walking him down. They both miss with big shots. Hard jab from Jackson. They both go to the body. Mo misses with three shots and they clinch. Mo gets a takedown against the cage. Rampage got up after about 30 seconds but Mo held his back with a body lock against the cage. Killing time. Crowd booking. A few punches from Lawal. He scoops a single and puts Rampage back down. He worked from half with a few punches. 10-9 Lawal.

Round 2 - Rampage loading up one shot at a time. Mo jabs and clinches up. He scooped an ankle but Rampage stayed upright. Lawal is exerting a lot of energy. John McCarthy separates them with 2:40 to go. Rampage with a jab. They trade shots. Another jab. Left hook from Rampage. He’s unloading on Mo now! Lawal in low on a takedown. He can’t get it though. They separate with 50 seconds left. Rampage with a nice left hook. Mo clinches again. Knee from Rampage inside. Rampage threw him to the mat. 10-9 Rampage.

Round 3 - Rampage backs off. Mo with a weak entry into a takedown attempt. He is holding Jackson against the cage but not much else. He backs up, lands a left, and goes back to it. He got Rampage off his feet but he showed off great balance to stay up. Rampage briefly went for a guillotine. Mo with some body shots. They separate...for about four seconds until Mo punches his way back into the clinch. Rinse, repeat. Rampage dove in on a double. Didn’t see that coming. Mo takes the back, but Rampage squirmed away. He lands a left hook. Mo starting to unload on Rampage now. BAck to grinding with a minute to go. Rampage is gassed. Mo ressing forward. He eats a jab but he’s relentless. He works the body. They trade shots to the horn. 10-9 and 29-28 for King Mo Lawal.

Muhammed Lawal defeated Quinton Jackson by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Marcos Galvao vs. Emmanuel Sanchez

Round 1 - They trade kicks. Sanchez firing off high kicks that are blocked. Front kick from Sanchez. Galvao shoots in but Sanchez stays on his feet. Barely. Both men landing jabs. Galvao clinches up. Sanchez lands a nice knee and presses Galvao against the cage briefly. Outside leg kick from Sanchez. Galvao with a nice combo that ends with a kick. Sanchez charges forward. 10-9 Sanchez.

Round 2 - Not much happening over the first minute. Sanchez throwing low kicks, Galvao looking for combos but coming up short. Sanchez connected with a head kick but Galvao fired right back. Sanchez lands another hard shot. He ties Galvao up against the cage but doesn’t do anything with it. Sanchez lands a right. Galvao trying to counter. Body kick from Sanchez. Sanchez briefly throws him to the mat at the end of the round. 10-9 Sanchez.

Round 3 - Sanchez with two head kicks. He keeps doubling up on that. Galvao scooped a single but Sanchez pulled his leg out. Low kick from Sanchez. Galvao walks him down and looks for another takedown but can’t get anywhere. Sanchez is just bodying him. They spend a minute or so grinding in the clinch against the cage. Galvao tries again to get him to the floor, but they brawl out of the position. Low kick from Sanchez grazed the cup. Galvao throwing all that he has now. He’s connecting a little bit. He finally got a takedown, but there’s only 10 seconds left. Sanchez was up in five. 10-9 and 30-27 Sanchez.

Emmanuel Sanchez defeated Marcos Galvao by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Chase Gormley vs. Sergei Kharitonov

Round 1 - Inside leg kicks from Gormley. Hard jab from Kharitonov. Gormley very active with low kicks and jabs. Superman punch from Gormley. Jab from Sergei. Triple jab from Gormley. Sergei caught a kick and landed a hard knee to the job. They trade jabs. Nice combo from Gormley. Short shots from both inside. Sergei with a big right. Gormley with a big combo that hurt Kharitonov briefly. Sergei punched him in the thigh, so Gormley did it right back. Kharitonov starting to connect with his big shots. Uppercut and he’s out! Walk-off KO! That was nasty!

Lloyd Carter vs. Noad Lahat

Round 1 - Slow start. Lahat caught a kick but couldn’t get a takedown. Lahat with a reaching jab. Carter landed a hard jab that briefly knocked Lahat down. He shook his head like it didn’t mean anything. Lahat gets a takedown. A bit of ground and pound. Lahat popped out to his feet, kicked him in the butt, and jumped back into the guard. He tried to get to mount but secured an arm triangle. It looked deep but he let it go and went to mount now. Punches from Lahat. 10-9 Lahat.

Round 2 - Inside leg kick from Carter. Jab from Carter. Lahat shot in and got a takedown. Moved to mount. Looked for the arm triangle again but Carter defended. Back to mount, and now onto the back. Body triangle from underneath. A couple of elbows stunned Carter. Lahat secures the choke and it’s over.

Noad Lahat defeated Lloyd Carter by submission (rear naked choke), 3:50 of round 2

Steve Kozola vs. Jake Roberts

Round 1 - Roberts with a low outside kick. Kozola clipped him with a left hook and dropped his opponent immediately, face first. It looked like referee John McCarthy was going to step in there, but he didn’t so Kozola fired off another combo led by an uppercut that backed Roberts to the cage. Another super accurate combo ends Roberts’ night.
