Discuss Saturday night’s Invicta FC 22: Evinger vs. Kunitskaya fight card right here on Bloody Elbow, starting at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on UFC Fight Pass.

Esther Lin, Invicta FC

tInvicta FC has another great fight card lined up for fans on this non-UFC weekend. The main event is a bantamweight championship rematch between Tonya Evinger and Yana Kunitskaya. Their first fight ended in a surprising Kunitskaya armbar win, but Evinger successfully overturned the result on appeal, as the referee wrongly told her to move from a legal position when she tried defending the submission.

Saturday night’s event was scheduled to have eight fights, but as revealed in the promotion’s press release stated,“ an atomweight bout between Jinh Yu Frey and Janaisa Morandin was canceled after Yu Frey weighed in at 106 pounds and Morandin missed weight at 111.2 pounds. Yu Frey will receive her show money.”

Also of note, both DeAnna Bennett and Miranda Maverick missed weight for their respective bouts, and were fined 25% of their purses. Thankfully there are no cancellations to be had here.

You can catch all of the action on UFC Fight Pass tonight at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT. To get yourself better prepped for this event, check out Victor Rodriguez’s event preview, as well as Victor, Zane Simon, and D.E.O on the MMA Vivisection.
