Tonight, UFC’s 104th fight night will go down in Houston, Texas. Headlining the card is a contest that has many a fight fan positively bursting with anticipation. Dennis Bermudez vs. Chan Sung Jung was forged from the pages of a World War Z sequel (because Jung is a fast zombie), and if ever there were a bout that had “performance bonus” written all over it, this is the one.
The rest of the bout sheet is rife with potential for highlight reel performances, and features three strawweight contests that are all but guaranteed to be crowd pleasers. Bloody Elbow content partner Thomas J. Toehold, Esquire has a brand new video breakdown of the event to help you get your fight picks in order.
Here’s a brief transcript of one of his predictions:
“The next fighter on my list is Curtis Blaydes. He’s another active heavyweight with a significant size advantage over his opponent. Blaydes averages 4.46 landed significant strikes per minute, and is very active with takedowns. His last fight was a second round KO/TKO, and I think he does the same here tonight.”
Check out the rest of his predictions in the following video.
