UFC 217 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued an unprecendented seventh and final episode for this weekend’s big show in NYC, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
The episode kicks off with Jorge Masvidal. He’s made weight, and talked about the cut to 170 being so much easier than to 155. He’s eating food in his room, and then he talks about his confrontations with Michael Bisping. Just in case something else happens, he’s got his “big man” with him - Yoel Romero.
“I’m coming for you. You know. I’ll follow you. Wherever you’re going, I go. Remember. I’ll see you soon. Boy.”
He scares me.
Bisping clowns around with some Irish fans. Joanna Jedrzejczyk says she’s the Boogeywoman. She seems pissed at someone from Rose Namajunas’ camp, maybe Pat Barry, for calling them bitches. She tells Barry, who laughs at her.
Then it’s ceremonial weigh-in time. Bisping is continuing to talk sh-t. Georges St-Pierre is just laughing at him.
It’s on! UFC 217 goes down tonight in Madison Square Garden.
