Live, blow-by-blow updates for today's UFC 217 headlining bout between Michael Bisping and Georges St-Pierre.

Join us today on Bloody Elbow for live results, discussion, round scoring, and play-by-play as UFC 217 goes down in New York. The card features three title fights, with the headliner seeing UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping defending his title against the returning welterweight legend, Georges St-Pierre.

The co-main is Cody Garbrandt vs. T.J. Dillashaw for the men's 135-pound belt. Finally, Joanna Jedrzejczyk faces Rose Namajunas for the women’s strawweight championship.

This post will cover the headiner. Can Bisping successfully defend his title for a second time? Or can St-Pierre because just the fourth UFC fighter to win belts in two weight classes?

Michael Bisping vs. Georges St-Pierre

Round 1 - Lots of feinting early. They trade jabs. Inside leg kick from GSP. Outside leg kick. Jab from Bisping. Another. Big overhand right from St-Pierre. Follows with a jab. GSP misses with a spinning back kick. Jab. Bisping hasn’t opened up yet. Quick head kick from GSP. GSP with a leg kick as Bisping tried to throw a long right. Another right from GSP. And a big jab. Bisping lands a right. Glancing right from St-Pierre. Bisping with a right. Back to the jab for Bisping. Bisping circling. St-Pierre with a single leg and He gets Bisping to his butt. He’s up after 15 seconds. Superman punch staggered Bisping! GSP spins and just misses with a standing elbow. 10-9 GSP.

Round 2 - Side kick from Georges, Wonderboy style. Strong jab from both men. Bisping with a telegraphed head kick. GSP goes back to the jab. Jab to the body too. Another side kick. He feints a takedown, then catches a kick and lands a left hook. He’s kicking the front leg too. Bisping with a big right over the top! Bisping finally bringing a bit of pressure. They trade jabs. Double jab from GSP, and he gets a nice single leg takedown. He’s in half guard. Bisping powers his way to his feet with 1:20 to go. Bisping lands another right and an inside leg kick. Jab from GSP, left from Bisping. Bisping caught a kick but GSP stays on his feet. Inside leg kick from Bisping. Jumping head kick from Bisping. Jab from GSP. Another right from Bisping. Body kick from GSP. Bisping with an inside leg kick. Close round, but I’ll go 10-9 Bisping.

Round 3 - St-Pierre in on a single immediately and gets Bisping to the floor. He’s working in full guard and Bisping landed a couple of elbows to the head. GSP is cut from the elbows. GSP stacking and landing a couple of punches. Bisping warned for glove grabbing. GSP with an elbow. Another elbow from Bisping and there’s lots of blood. Bisping pushed off and got up with 2:50 to go. St-Pierre wearing the crimson mask. Jab from GSP. Bisping with a long right. Bisping with a jab, GSP with an overhand right. And another. Superman punch and a leg kick. Patented GSP. Left lands for Bisping. Side kick from St-Pierre. GSP dropped him with a left! He’s all over him with elbows! Bisping survives but Georges takes his back AND CHOKES HIM UNCONSCIOUS! GEORGES ST-PIERRE! TWO-DIVSION CHAMP!
