Check out our breakdown of the post-fight bonuses from UFC Fight Night: Werdum vs. Tybura in Sydney, Australia.

Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia was the home to the longest night of fights ever, with just two (T)KOs, one submission and an incredible 10 decisions, including four split-decisions. The event was, according to commentator Dan Hardy, the longest 13-fight card in UFC history and boy did it feel that way.

Performances of the Night: Nik Lentz and Tai Tuivasa

Will Brooks came into tonight’s event as the bookmakers’ favorite, and for good reason. Just about the only way he could lose this fight is if he done something crazy, like give his head to Nik Lentz for a guillotine.

At 2:05 of the second round, Will Brooks gave Lentz his head, who trapped it in a guillotine. Lentz was awarded $50,000 for getting one of only three finishes on the entire card.

Tai Tuivasa’s fight against Rashad Coulter was one of the few highlights of the night, with some decent action on the feet and in the scrambles throughout the first round, culminating in an immense flying knee knockout with just 25 seconds left on the clock. That’s a hell of a statement to make on your debut and the Australian heavyweight walked off $50K richer for his efforts.

Fight of the Night: Frank Camacho vs Damien Brown

Frank Camacho and Damien Brown put on a slobberknocker of a brawl to kick off the FS1 prelims, with both guys throwing caution to the wind and winging wild shots at each other on more than one occasion. Brown came close to winning via rear-naked choke in the first, but Camacho’s ability to land the harder shots eventually saw him take a split-decision after a hard fought 15 minutes.

Unfortunately for Camacho, the UFC withheld his bonus due to missing weight yesterday, leaving Brown the sole winner of the FOTN bonus. Company brass decided that they’d cut costs by not awarding Camacho’s $50,000 to another fighter on the card. Boooo!
