UFC 217 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the second episode for this weekend’s big show in NYC, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start off with Cody Garbrandt arriving in New York City. He does some shopping the next day, since he “likes clothes and shoes”. Over in Cali, T.J. Dillashaw is headed to the airport to pick up former TAM coach Duane Ludwig. He then shows off his meal plan at home, and talks nutrition a bit.
In Colorado, Rose Namajunas is working out. Pat Barry is there, of course. Then they head over to the barber shop to shave Rose’s head. Down at ATT, Joanna Jedrzejczyk is tearing her clothes throwing elbows. The next day, she takes like five suitcases to New York because she has to do a lot of media. She gets a shoutout from a flight attendant on the flight, who just wants to make sure she got her name right.
Michael Bisping is doing a workout because it’s raining so hard outside in NYC. He continues to talk to himself (or the camera), psyching himself up. He then heads off to do his regular podcast live with his co-host, who lives in NY. He alternates between praising Georges St-Pierre and trashing him (‘he looks pregnant with an alien’).
St-Pierre talks about folding up his gloves, and heads off to do some media. Afterward, he climbs into his hot tub with a nice view of Montreal.
And that’s it!
UFC 217 goes down this Saturday night in Madison Square Garden.
