If you haven’t been hiding under a rock for the last month, you already know that UFC 207 was the last event for 19-year veteran play-by-play commentator Mike Goldberg. Unfortunately for fans of the sport and Goldberg, the UFC didn’t even mention during the broadcast that he’d be leaving the promotion. It was very sugical, very precise and kind of cold-hearted the way they handled Goldberg’s exit, as well as the many staff terminations that have gone down over the last several months since the sale of the Zuffa property to the WME-IMG group.
In light of the way the brass snubbed Goldberg’s proper bon voyage in much the same fashion the Academy Awards snubbed Leonardo Di Caprio all those years, Bloody Elbow content partner, Thomas J.
