Cody Garbrandt shares old pic of ‘scumbag’ of T.J. Dillashaw

The Ultimate Fighter 25 is shaping up to be one of the most intense seasons yet, as former teammates turned arch rivals Cody Garbrandt and T.J. Dillashaw are set to coach on opposite teams.

Things turned ugly between the two bantamweights when Dillashaw left Urijah Faber’s Team Alpha Male (TAM) to join Elevation Fight Team in 2015. Dillashaw felt that it was the best move for his career, but newly-crowned 135-pound champion Garbrandt says he sold out.

Garbrandt, who beat Dominick Cruz in a championship epic at UFC 207, posted a scathing message to Dillashaw on social media. The 24-year-old posted an old picture of Dillashaw wearing a ‘no love’ t-shirt, calling his ex-friend a ‘scumbag’ for leaving TAM.

Dillashaw, who is currently ranked as the No. 1 BW contender in the world, lost the title to Cruz last year. The former champ rebounded with back-to-back wins over divisional standouts Raphael Assuncao and John Lineker and will look to reclaim the belt against Garbrandt.

The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption debuts on FOX Sports 1 on April 17, with Garbrandt and Dillashaw expected to settle the score in a championship grudge match in the second half of 2017.
