Georgi Karakhanyan vs. Emmanuel Sanchez

Round 1 - Georgi catches him spinning with a left hook. They trade a barrage of kicks. Sanchez looks for a trip in the clinch but can't get anything. Karakhanyan gets Sanchez down to his butt against the cage. He takes the back. Extended sequence of nothing. Georgi still has a body lock and is landing a few knees to the thigh. He's in on a double now and Sanchez is back down to his butt. Sanchez finally dumped him off, took his back, and looked for a choke. Karakhanyan getting backpacked now, but he perseveres. 10-9 Sanchez.

Round 2 - Georgi scoops a single right away but settles for a body lock again. Sanchez backs away and opens up with his hands before securing a takedown. Sanchez worked from the top for a while with some steady ground and pound. Sanchez pulls out of guard and eats a couple of upkicks. One may have been illegal since he had his knee on the ground. Kato jumps in for the kill but gets his leg tied up. He immediately pulls out. 10-9 Kato.

Round 2 - Hard inside leg kick from Kato. Aaaand we're back to them staring at each other. The ref finally steps two minutes in and tells them to do what they're getting paid for. Kato immediately responds and kicks the bejesus out of Gracie. More inaction. Kato in with kicks again. Gracie has done absolutely nothing. Kato is throwing out a jab from archery range. Gracie has some weird stuff on his shorts. These are the highlights of the round so far. I've seen better fights in a goldfish tank. 10-9 Kato.

Round 3 - More staring for a solid minute. Gracie ran forward! Not sure why, he didn't throw a strike or anything. They clinched up! This fight is so bad that clinching is the most exciting thing to happen in eight minutes or so. Kato spun away and cracked Gracie with a punch and a knee. Gracie staggers away, then grabs a leg and somehow ends up on top in Kato's full guard. He passed to side with a minute to go, then mount. He's posturing up, but out of time. 10-9 Gracie I guess. But 29-28 Kato. The fans are the one's that lost here.
