Flyweights Jussier Formiga and Ray Borg have settled on a date to fight. As Combate reported, the pair will meet on the next Brazil card, in the city of Fortaleza, on March 11.
Formiga (19-4) will try to put together a two-fight win streak as he comes off an unanimous decision win against Dustin Ortiz in September 2016. Before that, he dropped a split decision in a title eliminator bout against Henry Cejudo in November 2015. The Cejudo loss snapped Formiga's three-fight winning streak where he defeated Scott Jorgensen, Zach Makovsky and Wilson Reis.
The 23-year-old Ray Borg (10-2) will also look to put together a winning streak as he is coming off a unanimous decision win over Louis Smolka last month. Before that, he dropped a decision to Justin Scoggins, which also snapped a three-fight winning streak, over the likes of Shane Howell, Chris Kelades and Geane Herrera.
The two men will meet at UFC Fight Night 106, on March 11, in Fortaleza, Brazil. The card will be headlined by middlweights Kelvin Gastelum and Vitor Belfort.
