A pair of women’s bantamweights has been added to the UFC’s next Brazil card, as Combate reported that Bethe Correia will meet Marion Reneau in Fortaleza.
Undefeated until earning a title fight against then-champion, Ronda Rousey, Bethe Correia (10-2) was knocked out by Rousey and then dropped a split decision to Raquel Pennington in her next fight. She snapped the two-fight skid with a split decision win against Jessica Eye in September 2016.
At 39, veteran Marion Reneau (7-3) has fought fewer times than her opponent, but will also look to put together a win streak following a two-fight skid, when she dropped a couple of decisions to former champion, Holly Holm, and Ashlee Evans-Smith. She snapped the skid with a third round TKO win over Milana Dudieva, in November 2016.
UFC Fight Night 106 takes place on Saturday, March 11th and air live on Fox Sports 1. The card will be headlined by middleweights Vitor Belfort and Kelvin Gastelum, with lightweight contenders Edson Barboza and Beneil Dariush meeting in the co-main event.
