B.J. Penn will make his return to the Octagon this weekend, but his brother Reagan might not be there to witness it. According to a report from TMZ, the younger Penn was arrested after he started an argument with a flight attendant while waiting to take off on a flight from Los Angeles to Phoenix earlier today.
The article states that Penn asked for alcohol before the flight left, and his request was denied by a flight attendant. He then got into an argument with the flight attendant and was eventually asked to get off the plane, but he wouldn’t. When the cops came, he allegedly said “I won’t get off the plane without a fight”.
That led to him being taken down by the officers and arrested for trespassing.
Penn had a brief MMA career of his own, going 1-1 on the first two ProElite shows back in 2011. Older brother B.J. takes on Yair Rodriguez in the main event of UFC Fight Night 103 at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix on Sunday.
