Video - Frankie Edgar gives post-groin surgery thoughts: ‘My d*** hurts’

Frankie Edgar was hoping to fight at UFC 208, this February in Brooklyn, New York. But, with the event rapidly filling up, it seems that a quick booking wasn’t going to be in the cards. That left Edgar with some extra time to kill, and what better way to kill time than by getting your groin operated on.

The top ranked featherweight recently went under the knife to take care of a nagging injury. And for the sake of posterity, decided to send a post-surgery shout out to fans who would like to know that everything went okay.

“Hi... My dick hurts,” a still dopey Edgar announced in a short video on Instagram. “Around it hurts. The dick is okay, but around it hurts.”

“I feel it. It’s down by my knees!”

“Groin surgery was a success. Was trying to get on the Brooklyn card but couldn't get the deal done. So took care of a nagging injury. Shouldn't be out to long! #AnesthesiaGotMeLikeWhoa”

No word yet as to when exactly Edgar is expected back in the cage, or whether or not he’ll be reaching out to Reebok for a longer set of fight shorts in his next bout.
