The UFC 203 weigh-ins were all wrapped up before midday in the Eastern Time Zone. Isn't that phenomenal? Fighters had from 9-11 AM ET to step on the scales, but Alistair Overeem got stuck in an elevator and missed the deadline. He's since been fined $500, which will go to the state of Ohio.
Any fears that CM Punk would miss weight can be put to bed, as he came in at 170 on the dot. Mickey Gall weighed in at 170.5. We're that much closer to actually seeing CM Punk compete in a UFC fight on a pay-per-view main card. What a time to be alive.
The only weigh-in miss was Michael McBride, who was signed on short notice to replace Mairbek Taisumov. McBride weighed in at 158, two pounds over the allowable lightweight non-title fight limit, so 20% of his purse will go to Nik Lentz.
Video of the real weigh-ins (courtesy of MMA Fighting) can be viewed at the top of the page. If you're into the fake weigh-ins, watch the video at the bottom of the page at 6 PM ET/3 PM PT. There will be staredowns.
