UFC Fight Night Brasilia results and video: Nelson KOs Silva

Check out the results from the first four main card fights at UFC Fight Night Brasilia.

The first four fights of the UFC Fight Night Brasilia main card were all finished before the final horn. Two submissions, a knockout, and a cut stoppage meant for some entertainment. Here's how it all went down.

Roy Nelson defeats Antonio Silva by KO (punches), 4:10 of round 2

The first round of this bout showed that Silva can still take a shot at least. Nelson didn't connect with a massive shot, but he definitely connected. For his part, Silva connected with his own big punches and used a solid kicking game. Silva's chin caught up with him in round two though - Nelson clubbed him with an uppercut that put him down. Nelson was forced to land a few more shots on Silva, even though he wasn't defending himself, because referee John McCarthy wouldn't stop it. In the end though, Big Country got the W.

Francisco Trinaldo defeated Paul Felder by TKO (cuts), 2:25 of round 3

This was mostly a striking battle, with Trinaldo doing a good job of staying out of the dangerous Felder's range. Trinaldo was able to wade in and connect with right hooks, while working his body kick game. He got a takedown in the second and opened up a cut, which he made much bigger in the third with a big shot. Felder's face was completely covered in blood, and they had to stop the fight.

Eric Spicely defeated Thiago Santos by submission (rear naked choke), 2:58 of round 1

Spicely surprisingly dominated his ranked opponent throughout the short bout. He stifled Santos' vaunted striking by taking him down, and his grappling thoroughly confused the Brazilian. To get the finish, he jumped his back and managed to sink a choke on Santos as he was going down. Huge win for Spicely. Check out the finish below:

Godofredo Pepey defeats Mike De La Torre by submission (rear naked choke), 3:03 of round 1

Honestly, the whole fight was one big Pepey highlight. He started the fight by connecting with a spinning wheel kick, after all. He never let up, throwing all sorts of jumping and spinning attacks, sometimes to his own detriment. But overall, he completely overwhelmed De La Torre on the feet, having him out against the cage on at least one occasion. Finally he took it to the ground and got the submission finish. Check out the finish below.
