Cris Cyborg isn't the only woman stepping into the cage this week, even if she is the most notable one. Invicta has a fight card going down this Friday, September 23rd in Kansas City, Missouri. The event will be headlined by a pair of title bouts as Jennifer Maia defends her interim flyweight belt against Roxanne Modafferi in the main event, and Ayaka Hamasaki takes on Jinh Yu Frey in defense of her atomweight title in the co-main. It's a weird card with a lot to offer in terms of both title relevance and sideshow fights with Muay Thai champ "Time Bomb" Tiffany Van Soest taking her second MMA fight and former SFL champ Manjit Kolekar fighting outside of India for the first time.
