We're just a little bit over a month away from UFC 203 in Cleveland, Ohio, which will host hometown hero Stipe Miocic's heavyweight title defense against Alistair Overeem. Also featured on the PPV main card is the MMA debut of former WWE star CM Punk (real name: Phil Brooks), who will face off against Mickey Gall in a welterweight matchup. As part of the buildup to CM Punk's first (and possibly last?) fight, he will have a feature documentary air on FOX Sports on August 15th. Here's a recent behind the scenes look, courtesy of filmmaker Rory Karpf.

Karpf's previous work includes sports documentaries for ESPN's "30 for 30" series, including 2015's I Hate Christian Laettner, which focused on the intense fan dislike of the former Duke University basketball star, who led his team to two NCAA national championships. This series is simply titled The Evolution of Punk and will air in 4 parts, with the last one set to reach television airwaves the week of UFC 203, which occurs on September 10th.
Gall (2-0) won on Dana White's Lookin' For a Fight, then submitted Mike Jackson in his UFC debut in February, but his planned fight with CM Punk was delayed by a few months after Punk underwent back surgery.
