In an interview with BloodyElbow.com, lightweight fighter Jason Novelli discusses his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 92 in Salt Lake City, Utah against David Teymur on Saturday evening, receiving the call from the organization and how long it took to sink in, whether or not he was surprised to be signed, training in Hawaii ahead of the fight, potentially fighting in Portland, Ore., in October barring any injuries, going to a draw against UFC veteran Yosdenis Cedeno in his last fight at Titan FC 38, and much more.

UFC Fight Night 92 takes place live from the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah on Saturday, Aug. 6. The event is headlined by a featherweight matchup between top prospect Yair Rodriguez and Alex Caceres. Novelli's fight against Teymur will take place on the FOX Sports 1 preliminary card.
