This time last week, Nick Diaz was on scene for the water bottle mayhem that was the end of the UFC 202 press conference for brother Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor. This week, Nick wound up tangled in the middle of a nightclub brawl. TMZ has the details of the incident, which happened at the Hyde nightclub in the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in the Las Vegas Strip.
"A rep for the club tells us the UFC fighter went to a bathroom outside the club around 2:30 AM, and accidentally stumbled into another customer ... who started talking smack.
We're told Nick apologized and said he didn't want any trouble, but 3 other men then joined the first guy and jumped Nick ... who tells us, 'I didn't start it. They didn't know who I was.'
He tried to defend himself, and got hit hard in the head -- and then the fight spilled out of the bathroom, and out onto the Bellagio's casino floor."
Diaz had some Snapchat footage of him partying inside the club, which you can view at the top of the page. There is no footage (yet) released of the brawl.
For those of you wondering if Nick instigated the fight, a club rep told ESPN's Brett Okamoto that this was not the case at all.
Spoke to a rep from the club who confirmed Nick wasn't the problem. Exact words, "Nick was very well behaved." https://t.co/Fs2HVwZHWj

The attackers were removed from the premises by security, and TMZ also reports that Diaz will not press charges.
