UFC 202 is upon us. The show goes down tonight in Vegas, and the final episode of Embedded looked at the final preparations for the top fighters on the card. It also looked back at the heated weigh-ins from yesterday.
It starts off showing Nate Diaz having to cut about five pounds, because he had gone out for dinner the night before. Anthony Johnson and Glover Teixeira needed to cut about the same amount of weight. Everyone showed up for the morning weigh-ins and hit the mark, including Conor McGregor.
There was a bit part about Conor's nutrition, then they got to the weigh-ins. Glover and Johnson squared off respectfully, but you know that wasn't going to happen with Diaz and McGregor. They yelled at each other and Diaz threw a bit of a jab. It wasn't even close, but it was enough to bring security between them.
The most memorable part was their quick interviews afterward with Joe Rogan though.
McGregor: "He should have killed me when he had the chance. Because now I'm back, and I'm gonna kill you and you're whole f**king team. You and their b*tch kids."
Diaz: "It's kill or be killed again. USA motherf**ker!"
