The build up to UFC 202 continues, and the new episode of Embedded picks up right where we left off with the fallout of the bottle-throwing incident between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor.
Backstage, a very agitated McGregor was fuming after the incident, more frazzled than Jose Aldo was in the lead up to their fight. Nate Diaz strolls around with his crew and get acclimated, while Anthony Johnson enjoys the boss-level accommodations at the Red Rock as he details his perspective on the press conference debacle.
Glover Teixeira arrives and gets some training in, while Rumble has a bit of fun at Dave Sholler's expense. Then, the open workouts begin with the co-main event and main event fighters displaying their skills and putting on a bit of a show for the fans. Nate Diaz gives some more thoughts on the previous ordeal and remains unperturbed regarding the chaos of it all. Finally, Conor McGregor does his open workout and has a few choice words for Nate and the rest of the Diaz crew. It all ends with a mic drop.
