Following Cris Cyborg tweet, Ronda Rousey shoots down pregnancy rumors

UFC president Dana White told TMZ that he confirmed with Ronda Rousey that the former UFC women's bantamweight champion is NOT pregnant, even as the online rumors persist.

A few months ago, Ronda Rousey emotionally said on Ellen DeGeneres' show that she wants to have Travis Browne's babies, so I guess it only makes sense that the current rumor is that the former UFC women's bantamweight champion is pregnant. This has been swirling around on-and-off over the past couple of months, and then Invicta FC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg tweeted this on Thursday.

This caused a firestorm of speculation, but thankfully the folks at TMZ got to the bottom of this ASAP. They contacted Dana White, who contacted Ronda Rousey, and she says (through Dana telling TMZ) that the rumors aren't true. With that said, Rousey is genuinely unlikely to compete at UFC 205 in Madison Square Garden, as recent surgery puts any potential return date closer to December 2016 or January 2017. UFC 205 is on November 12th.
