Report: Holly Holm will only fight Cyborg at 135 pounds; Cyborg responds

Holm entertains the idea of a bantamweight bout with Cyborg if she beats Valentina Shevchenko later tonight, but Cyborg accuses her of backtracking.

According to Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times, Holly Holm is open to a fight with Cristiane Justino -- or Cyborg -- if she beats Valentina Shevchenko at UFC on FOX 20 later tonight, but there are conditions.

It didn't take long for Cyborg, who is the current Invicta FC featherweight champion, to respond. The Brazilian has never fought at 135 pounds and accused Holm of backtracking from earlier statements.

Justino linked to an MMA Fighting article from 2014, before Holm's UFC debut, which addressed the possibility of a non-UFC PPV between the two fighters if Holm's deal didn't come to fruition. In the past, Holm has also expressed her interest in a 140-pound catchweight fight with Cyborg but appears to have changed her stance in recent weeks.

Justino made her UFC debut in a 140 lbs. catchweight bout with Leslie Smith earlier this year, TKO'ing the Californian in vintage fashion in the opening round.

'The Preacher's Daughter', who lost the women's bantamweight title to Miesha Tate at UFC 196, will look to spring back into the winners column against Schevchenko and re-establish herself as a top contender within the division.

UFC on FOX 20, which features Holm vs. Shevchenko in the main event, takes place later tonight, July 23, at United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
