Jessica Andrade vs. Joanne Calderwood added to UFC 203

A clash of female fighters coming from impressive wins will take place at UFC 203 as Brazilian Jessica Andrade takes on Scotland's Joanne Calderwood on September 10, as Combate reported. Since Andrade has recently dropped to strawweight from bantamweight and Calderwood's last fight was at flyweight, the weight class for the match has not been disclosed yet.

In her strawweight debut, Andrade (14-5) impressed the crowd with a brutal beating of former title challenger, Jessica Penne, which was stopped in the second round. The win came after a submission loss to Raquel Pennington, at 191, in September.

As for Calderwood (11-1) a win over Andrade could mean a three-fight UFC streak as she already has a couple of wins over the likes of Valerie Letorneau and Cortney Casey. Her sole loss, a submission to Maryna Moroz back in April 2015.

Jessica Andrade will meet Joanne Calderwood at UFC 203, on September 10, in Cleveland. The card will be headlined by a heavyweight title fight between champion Stipe Miocic and challenger Alistair Overeem.
