It's been over a year since Michelle Waterson's UFC debut, but she will be making her Octagon return on September 3rd. "The Karate Hottie" will face Ireland's Aisling Daly at UFC Fight Night: Arlovski vs. Barnett in Hamburg, Germany, as was confirmed by UFC officials on Tuesday.

Waterson (13-4) was the Invicta FC atomweight champion, but lost her title to Herica Tiburcio at the end of 2014. She returned to strawweight and got herself a UFC win at the TUF 21 Finale in July 2015, as she dominated and submitted Angela Magana. Waterson was scheduled to fight Tecia Torres at UFC 194, but pulled out with a knee injury. Despite her inactivity, she's still ranked #11 in the UFC's official strawweight rankings.

Daly (16-6) was part of the cast of The Ultimate Fighter 20, where she was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Jessica Penne. She made her official Octagon debut on the season finale, defeating Alex Chambers via armbar. Her two fights in 2015 were a decision loss to Randa Markos at UFC 186, followed by a unanimous decision win over Ericka Almeida in front of a raucous crowd at UFC Dublin in October. Like Waterson, Daly will also be making her first UFC appearance of 2016.

UFC Fight Night: Arlovski vs. Barnett streams live on UFC Fight Pass. In addition to the heavyweight main event of Josh Barnett and Andrei Arlovski, Alexander Gustafsson will face Jan Blachowicz, and Ilir Latifi will defend his pound-for-pound title against Ryan Bader.
