BE's Baddest Greatest MMA Wrestler: #2 Demetrious Johnson vs. #7 Dominick Cruz

It was not a good week for Cupcake fans. Miesha Tate lost her Bantamweight title at UFC 200, but much more importantly, she was also ousted from the BE's Baddest tournament. Tate had nothing for #2 seed and Hall of Fame legend Randy Couture, as Couture earned a dominant 29-3 win. Next up for Couture will be an old school dream match no matter how things shake out, as he faces either Dan Severn or Kevin Randleman.

Today, one of the fights I am most intrigued by in round 1: #2 ranked Demetrious Johnson vs. #7 ranked Dominick Cruz. It's rare that you see any drama in a 2 vs 7 fight here, which are mostly just a formality - see Couture vs. Tate for an example. But here, the #7 seed has scored a real world victory over the #2 seed - and he did it largely with wrestling. How will that factor into the votes? You make the call.
