Paul Daley vs. Douglas Lima
R1: Daley uses a right to steer Lima into a corner but, when he leads with his signature left hook, Lima drops him with a counter uppercut. Lima follows him to the ground, landing in half guard. Daley recovers quickly and defends well, then works back to his feet. Lima keeps him on the cage with a left-side under-hook. Daley with two short knees to the thigh. Lima changes levels but can't find the single leg. They stalemate and are separated with just under three minutes to go.
Daley comes up short on a rear-leg high kick but he throws an effective flurry with his hands. Lima swings a nasty right hand to back him off before forcing another clinch. Daley finally gets off the cage and separates. Half-power low kicks from Daley and they're checked by Lima. Outside low kick from Lima with his back on the cage. Daley glances with a lead left hook. 10-9 Lima.
R2: Outside low kick lands for Daley. Lima answers in kind. And another for Daley. Glancing left hook from Daley but he's late to counter Lima's next low kick. Another lands for Lima. The next one digs in hard. Lima changes levels as Daley's coming in and goes for a single, but Daley defends and circles off the fence. Daley's timing is on for the next two combos but Lima shells effectively, scoring with another stiff kick after defending the second barrage. Lima dazes Daley with another uppercut, this time as a counter to a right hand.
Lima stays on the trigger and catches him with another right, then a long shovel punch to the body. They clinch up and Lima powers him to the canvas, landing in half guard. Daley gets back to his feet and left-hooks his way out of the clinch. Lima dings him with a clean jab. Daley smashes Lima with a big right cross and Lima comes back with a thunderous flurry, again dropping Daley. 10-9 Lima.
R3: Daley is cleared before starting, having staggered in the general direction of his corner after the second round ended. Lima keeps chipping away with low kicks. Daley counters a low kick with a left hook and a follow-up flurry, pushing Lima back. Lima hits a reactive takedown as Daley's pressuring, landing in full guard.
Step-over pass for Lima into half guard. Daley closes his guard and gets good posture control, and the pace slows. Daley leans over for a kimura but Lima breaks his grip. Daley explodes out and turns it into a sweep and Lima, in turn, reverses him. Lima with a short elbow, back in Daley's half guard. Short left hammer-fist for Lima, staying just busy enough to avoid a stand up. 10-9 Lima. I have it 30-27 Lima.
Douglas Lima defeats Paul Daley by unanimous decision (30-27 x3)
R1: No dice on Mitrione's head kick. The pair clash heads on the next exchange but it goes unnoticed. Mitrione leads with a charging right hook that glances, then he peels off a wild combo with both hands. Thompson fires back when he runs out of real estate and they clinch up. The ref pauses the fight briefly as Thompson takes a shot below the belt but they're restarted quickly in the clinch. Thompson circles off the fence but Mitrione smashes him in the gourd with a knee from the Thai plum, and Thompson staggers away from the exchange.
Mitrione pounces with punches but, showing he's still game, Thompson freezes Mitrione with an uppercut. Mitrione puts him on the fence and lands another knee to the cut but the ref must not have seen it. Mitrione steps back with a flurry and Thompson answers in kind. Thompson catches Mitrione clean with a short and heavy right hook on his way into the clinch. Mitrione spins him with an arm drag and puts him on the fence. Mitrione can't get the outside trip and Thompson dings him with two more uppercuts before they separate. 10-9 Mitrione.
R2: Mitrione paws with his right hand and then lands an outside low kick. Glancing left cross from Mitrione. Thompson twice ducks his head and heaves a blind right. Another chopping outside low kick from Mitrione; this time it's answered in kind by Thompson.
Thomson lands short on a double left. Mitrione steers him against the fence and lets both hands go, landing to the head. Mitrione keeps him on the cage with a steady drum of short lefts. Mitrione breaks the clinch with a step-back left, then he clocks Thompson with a right. Thompson goes wobbly and Mitrione finishes him off with another right.
- Matt Mitrione defeats Oli Thompson by KO (punches) R2
R1: Carmont works a cautious jab until he nails a takedown a minute in. Full, open guard for Klinger. Carmont tries to pass to the right, then goes to his left to advance to half guard. Carmont cross-faces, then puts his forearm across Klinger's windpipe. Klinger goes to deep half guard and Carmont shuts down the sweep attempt, though Klinger regains full guard.
Carmont passes back to half guard and applies a D'arce choke, then passes to side mount to wrench it. Klinger fights it off briefly and tries to roll out, but he's forced to tap.
- Francis Carmont defeats Lukasz Klinger by submission (D'arce choke) R1
R1: Page glides out of his corner in a low, closed stance, then he flings a salvo of lightning-fast punches to the head of Santos. Page knifes in with a wide right hand and, mostly from the momentum of his punch, ends up taking Santos down after they collide. Page quickly ejects from Santos' guard and they reset on the feet. Page goes airborne for a double flying knee but Santos manages to sidestep it and take Page down. Page fights back to his feet and Santos drags him off the cage and to the ground with a body lock trip.
Page rolls into a kneebar as Santos is passing to half guard and it's a legit attempt. With a little patience, Santos slips his leg free and regains top position. Santos in half guard with a heavy base but no strikes as of yet. Santos looks to pin the right arm of Page with a crucifix attempt but uses it a ploy to pass to side control. Santos goes to the scarf hold position and throws a couple short punches. 10-9 Page.
R2: Page walks Santos into a corner with his hands down but doesn't let go. He does offer a playful shoulder roll while stalking him, however. Page unrolls a long and fast jab that glances. Spinning kick attempt from Page but Santos evades it.
Page continues to stalk and either unwind loopers or slice in with straights. Quick right hand gets through for Page, then his lead left round kick to the body has a clearly adverse affect on Santos. Half-blocked left high kick from Page, then an absolutely gorgeous counter jump-knee that detonates on Santos' face. That's a wrap.
- Michael Page defeats Evangelista Santos by KO (flying knee) R2
Jason Radcliffe vs. Jack Mason
R1: Mason rushes in and forces a clinch, and Radcliffe immediately goes to the Thai plum. He thwacks Mason with a nasty knee to the face while moving backward, and Mason goes down and out.
Spencer Hewitt vs. Pietro Manga
R1: Hewitt begins with hesitant stance switches, missing with his lead hook. Manga cracks him with a body kick, then sits down on a scorching left cross to counter a low kick and Hewitt crumples to the canvas.
R1: Gallagher comes out bouncing on his toes. His rear-leg high kick is blocked. Gallagher corners Cutting and catches a low kick, then converts it into a single-leg takedown. Half guard for Gallagher as Cutting tries to prop his back up onto the fence. Gallagher scrambles to the side with head control, then hops on Cuttings back and puts both hooks in. Full back mount from Gallagher, who starts punching to the head when his first go at a choke attempt isn't there.
Cutting, in turtle position, manages to defend the punches well and hand-fight the choke when he's able. Gallagher tries another choke with 90 seconds left but Cutting again disallows it. Cutting hand-attacks a hook to peel it out, then spins into Gallagher's guard. Gallagher almost immediately sweeps him, then tries for an armbar or triangle in the transition. Cutting gets his posture to alleviate the danger and ends the round with some strikes from on top. 10-8 Gallagher.
R2: Gallagher grazes with a head-kick counter to Cutting's low kick. Cutting is undeterred, switching to southpaw and landing two light low kicks in a row while keeping space with wide circles. Really wide. Cutting waves an adamant and unapologetic middle finger while retreating, presumable to the crowd. Cutting's circling is bordering on timidity but he surprisingly twirls into a spinning kick that lands square on Gallagher's jaw.
The marathon continues until referee Big John McCarthy warns Cutting for refusing to engage. Cutting nods in acknowledgment and they're restarted. Gallagher sails a few angry punches at Cutting before clinching up and tripping him with a body lock. Short shoulder strikes from Gallagher in half guard, then a pass to side control. Gallagher continues on to north-south and starts fishing for a kimura. He takes Cutting's back when he tries to scramble free. 10-9 Gallagher.
R3: Cutting comes out in southpaw and again flashes a quick spinning kick upstairs but Gallagher gets a glove in front of it. Lead-leg side kick from Cutting followed by some effective kicks and distance management. Cutting gets a little fancy with his circling and McCarthy gives him a soft warning.
Gallagher finally corners him and gets an easy takedown, again going all the way from half guard to north-south. Cutting goes parallel to the cage and puts his feet on it, and Gallagher stacks the legs in north-south. Halfhearted inverted triangle attempt from Cutting. Gallagher closes the round landing ground-and-pound. 10-9 Gallagher. I have it 30-26 Gallagher.
