Interview: #13 UFC Bantamweught Frankie Saenz UFC on FOX 20 **AUDIO ONLY**
Frankie Saenz gave his two cents on the recent sale of the UFC :
"... with a new company coming in hopefully they can take it where it hasn't been. I don't know where else they can go as far as just putting it out, making it more global. Seems like a good move... I haven't really had a chance to think about it but what can I do? I just go out there and fight."
Saenz responded to his struggles of securing a finish inside of the UFC:
"It's just tougher competition and I'm always looking to fight the best guys. This is my fifth fight in the UFC and this'll be my third ranked opponent. I'm always looking to fight the best guys and the finish is coming. The finish is coming. For one reason or another it just hasn't happened. The competition is the best in the world."
Does Frankie Saenz feel like he should be ranked higher than his current position of number 13? Saenz had this to say:
"I think so. I beat Iuri Alcantara and they were ranking him ahead of me for a while. I was like how do you get ranked below somebody that you dominated 30-27 in a unanimous decision. I never really cared for rankings... That's what you love about MMA. You get to fight. So hopefully I'll get a chance to fight all of these guys and make my way to the top."
