Neil Magny will need a new opponent at UFC 202MMAjunkie confirmed on Tuesday that Dong Hyun Kim is out of the Saturday, August 20th pay-per-view for reasons not yet disclosed, and that the promotion is seeking a replacement opponent for Magny.

Kim (21-3-1, 1 NC) is coming off a 1st round TKO win against Dominic Waters at UFC Seoul in his home country of South Korea back in November 2015. His other win in 2015 was a 3rd round submission of Josh Burkman at UFC 187. "Stun Gun" has won 6 of his last 7, with his only setback coming at the hands of Tyron Woodley in 2013.

Magny (18-4) has been sensational over the past 3 years. The TUF 16 semifinalist has only been bested once in his last 10 fights, and since his defeat to Demian Maia at UFC 190, Magny has taken three straight victories. His most recent outing was a 3rd round TKO of Hector Lombard at UFC Brisbane in March, which saw him rally from two knockdowns to give Lombard a beating for the ages. Magny is ranked #7 at 170 lbs, although he's below Kelvin Gastelum, whom he defeated by split decision less than a year ago.

Looking at who is available in the top 15 of welterweight, #12 Gunnar Nelson seems like a great option to replace Kim.

UFC 202 is headlined by a welterweight rematch between featherweight champion Conor McGregor and lightweight contender Nate Diaz, who defeated McGregor by rear-naked choke at UFC 196. The card will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
