Video: Ronda Rousey and Pokemon Go? UFC star trains in Pikachu costume

The former UFC champ and Pokemon fanatic did an interesting video for SportsCenter.

If you've been wondering what Ronda Rousey has been doing to prepare for her return from the cage, training in a Pikachu costume is one of them. The former UFC Bantamweight champion shot the promotional video for SportsCenter, which you can view at the top of the page.

The video begins with Rousey putting on the Pikachu costume in dramatic fashion. What follows is a training montage that includes punching a kicking a heavybag, using a rowing machine and slapping a BOB (Body Opponent Bag).

Both the UFC and Pokemon have made headlines this week. UFC 200 took place on Saturday, with the company announcing their sale to WME-IMG on Monday. Pokemon Go, a new app that allows users to collect Pokemon in real life, has sparked a new craze, resulting in Nintendo stock to rise 25% in just a few days.

Ronda Rousey has admitted to being a huge fan of Pokemon, even moderating a forum for Pokemon Stadium back in 2002.
