Ronda Rousey for Brock Lesnar? WWE looking for UFC superstar in trade

With Brock Lesnar set to compete in a one-off bout at UFC 200, it sounds like the WWE would like to get Ronda Rousey in the ring for WrestleMania 33.

It looks like there may be just a little bit more than meets the eye with Brock Lesnar's return to the UFC. The Brock-ness Monster is coming back to the UFC for what appears to be a one-off showing against the "Super Samoan" Mark Hunt at UFC 200, this July in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lesnar has apparently been given the WWE's blessing to make a UFC return, before heading back to the squared circle for SummerSlam on August 21st. But, that's not all there is to it. Forbes reports that as part of the deal the WWE is hoping to leverage their good will into getting some of the UFC's talent. Namely, Ronda Rousey.

Rousey made her pro-wrestling debut back at WresleMania 31 in March of 2015, aiding The Rock in dispatching of Stephanie McMahon. As an avid wrestling fan, she's since expressed a strong interest in having a career in the WWE down the road. That could make this a very tempting offer.

Apparently the WWE is hoping to get the UFC to agree to let Rousey work at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida in April of 2017. That's far enough out that it wouldn't get in the way of Rousey's potential end of the year return to the Octagon. If the deal shakes out, that'd make for a hell of a trade on both sides.
